Mars Hill Church is a family.

It's probably a little bigger than the family you grew up in, but it's just as unique. We're a group of people of different ages and backgrounds who share life together. We care for each other and help one another without hesitation.

Why Mars Hill?

There is a place for you at Mars Hill. Whether you've known God for years, or are not yet sure you even want to know Him, Mars Hill Church is trying to create a genuine and caring atmosphere where those who are curious or questioning can seriously consider the claims of Jesus as the "One" who has all the answers.

What's a House Church?

We live in them. They're comfortable and warm. A good thing about meeting in a house is that it keeps people from getting lost in the crowd and gives everyone a voice. With a smaller group, it's easier for us to express ourselves and share what's on our minds, sing or play instruments and encourage one another face to face.

Do you want spiritual growth?

It might be painful. Are you ready to be challenged in your faith, to love and live wholeheartedly for Christ? Do you dream of doing something truly meaningful with your life? Do you want to live dangerously, taking risks for God? Then you might be in the right place.

What's God's purpose for you?

Everyone has at some time felt unsure of their direction and unsteady about the future. God offers you hope in even the most hopeless situations. Talking to God about your problems can bring you peace of mind and wisdom about what to do. It was never God's plan for us to face our troubles alone.

Service @ Creekside Sanctuary

Mars Hill has moved it's weekly service to Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. The service is held at our building on the corner of Muscatine and 3rd Ave in Iowa City!

House Church Times/Locations

Mars Hill has house churches on Sunday nights for a time of deeper relationship building.  See house locations & maps for churches meeting in Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty.
