No Gathering.

We will not have our weekly Gathering this week due to it being the last Wednesday of the month. Please join us next Wednesday, September 2, at the Creekside Sanctuary for our regular time of worship, prayer and teaching.

Special Celebration this Saturday!

instead of our monthly Celebration this Saturday, August 29, we will have a send-off BBQ and picnic for Fei and Wen Wen, who are returning home to China in the next few days, and for Lindsy Rohlf, who is returning home to Minnesota. Everything will take place at the courtyard of John and Jade Sokoll at 157 Hawkeye Court. Each house church will be responsible for bringing their own meat to grill on two gas grills as well as different parts of the meal:

Hawkeye Court: Paper products, condiments.

North Liberty: Drinks.

Joe Abdo's: Sides.

Nathan Meyer's: Sides.

Jonathan Windham's: Desserts.

In addition, Todd and Shelly Vokoun will be collecting money to buy Fei and Wen their own side-by-side English and Chinese Bibles. They also hope to collect enough money to buy a few more English and Chinese Bibles for the Wens to give out back home in China. Anyone want to contribute can give the money to Todd or Shelly the night of the BBQ.

Hope to see everyone there!
