Mars Hill Northwest is a house church, which is part of the larger Mars Hill community in Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty. We are a small and friendly group dedicated to creating a fun and challenging environment in which we can continually and collectively grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to lower the bar of what it takes to do Church, while raising the bar of what it takes to be a disciple.

Small Groups

Small groups are the life blood of our group. Everyone is encouraged to be in a small group of 2 - 4 people. Most small groups are either doing an LTG style meeting or going through the Seven Signs of John's Gospel study. Our groups meet in an ever changing set of times and places, so if you want to get into one of our groups, just show up and we'll find one that works for your schedule.

Open Sharing

At least twice per month we have an open sharing meeting where anyone can bring a question or a thought to share. This is a chance for you to share how the person of Jesus has impacted your life or for you to ask any question that you would like to discuss with the group.

Where We Meet

Where we meet depends on the week. We have a semi regular meeting at the Meyer's house, but you should check our calendar to find out where we will be at any given time.
